Contract

A binding contract is formed when the customer as a visitor to the hunterhills.co.nz  website, and also referred as the other party, clicks on the confirm and submit button, having accepted the terms and conditions and had the opportunity to review their details.

Payment

All prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Prices do not include delivery or freight charges.

All prices include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST).

The name on your bank statement will be Hunter Hills Organics.  

Online shopping features within this site such as the shopping cart, login forms and your account page are protected by our own 256 bit SSL certificate, issued by Sectigo Limited.

Payment for products are handled by PayPal or by your own financial institution (where a direct bank transfer payment method is selected).

PayPal host and manage their own payment page for this website, which is secured by their own 256 bit SSL certificate – this ensures that transactions are safe from hackers.

Fulfilling Orders

When we receive notification of an order being placed we generally process and pack that order within 1 to 2 days, and then contact the courier company for collection (excluding custom made orders).

Delivery

New Zealand Delivery

Hunter Hills Organics offers free delivery* within New Zealand for orders to the value of $600.

Hunter Hills Organics ships by courier to residential or business addresses within New Zealand (please note: we do not deliver to post box addresses). Where applicable, please remember to include the business name as part of the address.

Once your order has been packaged and dispatched we will send a further email to confirm this, along with a tracking number for your parcel. Deliveries only take place on weekdays.

Parcels returned to us as undeliverable – because no business name has been shown, or the address supplied is incorrect, or failure to collect/organise an alternative time with the courier will incur a re-delivery fee.

*our free delivery offer may not be available if goods need to be despatched to a very remote location. Should this be the case we will contact you before dispatching your order.

We ship orders Monday – Friday. Any orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next business day.

Courier delivery times within New Zealand

Courier delivery times will be dependent on the frequency of deliveries to your specified address.

North Island orders should be delivered 2-3 working days after they are collected.

South Island and Rural Areas can expect orders to be delivered 4-5 working days after the order is collected.

All delivery time frames are ‘Target Delivery’ only and due to circumstances beyond our control, some delays can be expected from time to time.

Please note: Waiheke Island and a few other NZ island addresses may have a surcharge applied by the courier company – extra charges may apply. We will ring to confirm before dispatching your order.

Freight Charges

Shipping will be calculated and shown at the checkout before your payment is confirmed.

International Delivery

We do send orders internationally. Please contact us at farmer@hunterhills.co.nz if you wish to order from outside New Zealand.

IMPORTANT: Items will usually arrive at their destination within 6 – 14 days. However, if the courier service does not directly control all parts of the delivery chain, they cannot guarantee that your item will always reach its destination within the delivery target. Delivery to areas outside major cities, or where your item is dutiable or held in customs, may take longer. The delivery targets listed are only a guide. Any additional taxes or customs duties that are incurred within the recipient’s country are the responsibility of the buyer/recipient.

Please continue to track the item to make sure you are aware of any contact by the courier service to arrange delivery. If the courier service has tried to deliver the item (and then the item returned to the depot or postal service in your town) and you have not been in touch or failed to contact them in the time frame, and the parcel is returned to NZ, we unfortunately cannot cover the cost of re-sending back to you and the order cannot be refunded. If by chance you have not received your order sent within 2 weeks after you placed your order, please contact us immediately as we will make sure we follow this up for you with our courier company and help to resolve any issues promptly.

Returns

Hunter Hills Organics Limited takes great pride in the products offered, we have done everything possible to ensure that when you make your purchase you are aware of the size, the materials and the colours of each item. Before sending you products we check each item carefully to ensure they are not faulty or damaged.

Please choose carefully as we do not offer refunds on the basis of you changing of mind. We will however arrange a credit. In order to facilitate this you must contact us within 7 days of receipt of your order. You must return the item(s) to us at your cost and we recommend using a tracked service as Hunter Hills Organics cannot take responsibility for lost packages. Until your return is received by Hunter Hills Organics, it remains your responsibility.

If your purchase has been damaged in transit, please let us know immediately by email to farmer@hunterhills.co.nz and we will contact the courier company directly to sort out any claims. It is important that you keep the original packaging as the courier company may need to inspect this.

Incorrect Order

We check every order before despatch, however if we have sent an incorrect item, please contact us upon receipt. We will pay for the return of any items, however please ensure they are in their original condition, with all tags kept intact (excluding courier packaging).

New Zealand Law

All contracts formed between Hunter Hills Organics Limited and the customer by way of electronic transactions through Hunter Hills website are governed by the New Zealand law, and specifically the Commerce Act 1986 (NZ), the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ), and the Sale of Goods (United Nations Convention) Act 1994 (NZ).

Hunter Hills Organics – Obligations

The obligations of Hunter Hills Organics Limited as a party to the contract are bounded by the Commerce Act 1986 (NZ), the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ), and the Sale of Goods (United Nations Convention) Act 1994 (NZ).

For orders shipped within New Zealand, we aim to get your products to you 7-14 days from order placement. International orders may take longer.

Customer – Obligations

The obligations of the customer as a party to the contract are:
  • to provide correct and accurate information as required in the order form;
  • to provide a correct address for delivery of the goods.

Disputes

All disputes about transactions formed between Hunter Hills Organics Limited and the customer by way of electronic transactions through the Hunter Hills website will be resolved according to the Arbitration.
