ABOUT OUR FARM
Hunter Hills Organics is a 210-hectare organic farm nestled in the Hunter Hills and just off Highway One. The farm has been in the Henderson family for nearly 100 years and has been certified organic for over 25 years. Read below to discover more about our home.
Our New Zealand Farm
Our farm is at Hunter, just off Highway one.
210 hectares of land fed by wind, rain and sun.
It is nestled within the Hunter Hills shadow.
Our 96-year-old wool brand completing the logo.
Over 400 sheep and 60 beef cows.
Provide some of the work for a few of the hours.
September arrives and it’s the start of Spring.
Newborn lambs and calves are a wonderful thing.
Sheep shearing takes place two times a year; early July then December, before New Year’s cheer.
Visitors are welcomed from all around this planet, to relax and enjoy the lifestyle we inhabit.
Rustic, eco and friendly is your stay in The Shed, the picture below kitchen, living room and bed.
Cooking and creating are also included, and driving the quadbike it won’t be excluded.
Fresh eggs, milk and bread are always provided, and vegetables as well just digging is required.
Sunrises and sunsets are a fantastic sight, with night time delivering a starry delight.
